Rive Gauche

History and discoveries
Our hotel La Lanterne is located on the Rive Gauche. The Parisian south shore is considered on one hand for its numerous historic monuments : Notre-Dame de Paris, the Pantheon or still the Eiffel Tower. But also, for its lively and vibrant districts and its wonderful gardens like Luxembourg Gardens and botanic garden in which it is very pleasant to have a walk. Our hotel is located in the heart of Latin Quarter, one of the most vibrant district of Paris, especially at night with his lot of French restaurants, its theaters and its concert halls. For the anecdote, it is on this side of the Seine that Picasso painted his famous painting : Guernica (in 1937).
